{"id":101,"date":"2012-08-07T16:42:10","date_gmt":"2012-08-07T16:42:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www-sop.inria.fr\/members\/Fabien.Campillo\/?page_id=101"},"modified":"2023-10-12T12:14:11","modified_gmt":"2023-10-12T12:14:11","slug":"projects","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/localhost:8888\/wordpress\/projects\/","title":{"rendered":"Projects"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>I am currently PI of the&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www-sop.inria.fr\/members\/Fabien.Campillo\/projects\/2mds\/index.html\">2MDS<\/a>&nbsp;project [2024 &amp; 2025]: In collaboration with&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/people.bordeaux.inria.fr\/pierre.delmoral\/\">Pierre Del Moral<\/a>&nbsp;(team&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.inria.fr\/fr\/astral\">Astral<\/a>, Inria Bordeaux), the Inria Exploratory Action 2MDS, Multiscale Modeling of Dravet Syndrome, aims to develop a multiscale modeling framework for channelopathies, a group of diseases caused by the dysfunction of ion channels or their interacting proteins, including the Dravet Syndrome, a severe form of child epilepsy.&nbsp;<br>This project will also have a substantial experimental component, conducted by our collaborator&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ikerbasque.net\/es\/serafim-rodrigues\">Serafim Rodrigues<\/a>&nbsp;(<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bcamath.org\/en\/research\/areas\/m3a\/mcen\">MCEN<\/a>, Bilbao), also in collaboration with Juan&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.achucarro.org\/es\/people\/juan-manuel-encinas\/\">Manuel Encinas<\/a>&nbsp;of the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.achucarro.org\/\">Basque center for neuroscience<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I am also member of&nbsp;the&nbsp;Human Brain Project&nbsp;HBP SGA3 program [2017-2023].<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\" style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:100\">Recent projects<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>[2019-2022] NeuroTransmitter cycle: A Slow-Fast modeling approach (<a href=\"https:\/\/team.inria.fr\/neurotranssf\/\">site<\/a>). This\u00a0associate-team project\u00a0proposes to deepen the links between two research groups, namely\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/team.inria.fr\/mathneuro\">MathNeuro<\/a>\u00a0(Inria Sophia Antipolis) and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bcamath.org\/en\/research\/areas\/m3a\/mcen\">MCEN<\/a>\u00a0(BCAM, Bilbao), on strong Neuroscience thematics.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>[2013-2015]&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www-sop.inria.fr\/members\/Fabien.Campillo\/projects\/mnms\/index.html\">MNMs<\/a>&nbsp;(Numerical Models for Microbial Ecosystems) of the National Network of Complex Systems.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>[2013-2014] NuWat (Numerics for water treatment research)&nbsp;Lirima project between University of Tlemcen \/ Inria \/Inra&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/lirima.inria.fr\/en\/teams-2009-to-2018\/stic-mada\/\">[link].<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>[2011-2013] Lirima project on the theme \u201cmodeling and management of natural resources\u201d of Stic-Mada University of Fianarantsoa \/ University of Antananarivo \/ Inria \/ IRD.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>[2010-2011]&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www-sop.inria.fr\/members\/Fabien.Campillo\/projects\/momare\/index.html\">MOMARE<\/a>&nbsp;(Modelamiento Matematico por Manejo de Recursos Naturales), a South American\/French scientific network around mathematics applied to different situa- tions of estimation and management of renewable resources (forests, fisheries) using deterministic or stochastic dynamic models. Partners: Universities in Chile (Santiago and Valparaiso), Peru, Argentina, Inria\/Inra, Cermics ENPC, GREQAM Marseille.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>[2007-2008]&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www-sop.inria.fr\/members\/Fabien.Campillo\/projects\/arc-micr\/index.html\">ARC MICR<\/a>&nbsp;(Stochastic modeling, numerical inference and control for the evaluation and management of renewable resources)&nbsp;Inria Cooperative Research Action (Arc) \u201d, Inria\/Inra\/Cirad\/University of Montpellier\/Cermics ENPC.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>[2009-2011] MODECOL (Using mathematical modeling to improve ecoLogical services of prairie ecosystems) project of the ANR program&nbsp;\u201cSyst\u00e8mes Complexes et Mod\u00e9lisation math\u00e9matique\u201d (Syscomm).&nbsp;The project aims to develop mathematical and computer models of clonal plant ecosystems coupled with flow models in order to optimize the initial seeding and management of these systems for better ecological services provided by field margin strips, particularly for nitrate purification.
