Winter School on Coding and Information Theory

 

The Winter School on Coding and Information Theory 2007 will take place at La Colle sur Loup in the Côte d'Azur Region, the famous French Riviera from March 12th until March 16th. Organized by the Mobile Communications Department of the Eurecom Institute, the biennial IEEE Information Theory Society winter school continues its tradition to provide opportunities for graduate students to meet and learn about each other's ongoing research activities.

The objective of this winter school is to motivate the participation and interaction of different students, from different universities, to share their experience. In additional, invited guest speakers will be giving special talks on selected topics. For more information on the talks, please go here.

Important dates:
15th January  2007: list of students who intend to participate (send email to Corine Julien ).
20th of January  2007: start of registration.
31st of January  2007: submission of one-page two columns abstract to Nadia Fawaz and Mérouane Debbah.
11th of February 2007: end of early registration fee.
23th of February 2007: Starting this date, no reimbursement will be possible.
