OpenLDAP Software is an open source implementation of the Lightweight Directory Access Protocol. The expandUrl overlay (plugin for openldap) collects attributes referenced by URIs. Given an entry 'GroupA' with an attribute 'subgroup=ldap:///GroupB' and and entry 'GroupB' with an attribute 'member=bob', the extension will add the attribute 'member=bob' to 'GroupA' during a search operation. |
