The submission procedure for an INRIA technical report was updated on June 26, 2008.
You must from now on submit it to HAL-INRIA.

In a nutshell, the new procedure is as follows :

• Go to http://rrrt.inria.fr/AttribNum, fill in the required fields and upload the report on .ps or .pdf format. The file is submitted to the team leader for approbation.
• You receive an e-mail containing the report ID
  1. Insert the ID in the report source file
  2. Rename the report source file to : RR-XXXX.fileextension
  3. Submit the report in LaTeX (preferred) or Ps format to HAL-INRIA.
  4. Submit to HAL in the "report" category
  5. Fill in the "Internal ref." field with the value RR-XXXX
• You receive a confirmation e-mail containing the report ID, as well as your team leader and the reports managing team

PDF format report : pdflatex

• To submit a better quality version of your report in PDF format, we recommend, once you know the report ID, to follow these few steps and upload this version to
  /net/servers/rapports/tmp
  
  - either pdflatex
  - or LaTeX then dvips -Ppdf then ps2pdf.

After the defense : print copies of your thesis

INRIA Sophia Antipolis offers its members the possibility to obtain print copies (max. 15) of their thesis. Here is how to proceed :

• Go to the soutenance page of the Fido web portal,
• Complete/Edit if needed the bibliographic data of your thesis form
• Upload the files (pdf and/or postscript) of the final version of your thesis (click the option "Déposer le manuscrit définitif en cliquant [ICI]")
• Print and fill in the printing request along with the diffusion licence and hand it to the library (Marie-Hélène Comte or Anita Guiteau)

  Please not the edition is limited to 15 copies !

In addition, you must deposit at the library a recto/verso printed copy of the thesis using your Doctoral School template cover with the additional mention

Diffusion

• In order to ensure broader diffusion, please consider submitting your work to TEL, the French national thesis repository maintained by the CCSD
