Aside from the specification languages, Centaur provides several generic tools that facilitate the development of an environment prototype.
We occasionally refer to the <centaur-root-dir> in this tutorial (and in the documentation). This directory contains the current Centaur installation. It contains the subdirectories bin, lelisp, centaur, etc, contrib, gfxobj, and tools.
