Signature

banner: (TextWriter, String) $\to$ TextWriter

$\begin{params} {\em p} & \htmlref{\texttt{TextWriter}}{TextWriter} & The port ... ...lref{\texttt{String}}{String} & A name to center in the banner\\\end{params}$

$\begin{descr} Writes the default $\Sigma{}^{{\rm it}}$\xspace ~banner to the port p. \end{descr}$

$\begin{remarks} The string s is automatically centered in the banner. In order for the banner to look ok, it must have a maximum of 33 characters. \end{remarks}$

Example

banner(print, "B E R N I N A");

prints the following banner:
