Isis Description
Isis is a software for volume reconstruction out of seried slices.
It is developped inside thhe Aslcepios Team. The goal is to make volume
reconstruction easier and more accessible to biologists but also to
provide advanced parameters for researchers.
Isis is currently in internal release phase for testing by the Asclepios members.

Features of this first version (does that mean there's more to come? ;))
- Creation of image stacks out of seried slices.
- Images are edited in their original encoding. Currently supported are scalar images: UCHAR, USHORT, SHORT, FLOAT, DOUBLE.
- Robust block-matching rigid image registration
Interactive rigid registration of images, by drag and drop
- Cummulative registrations. The use can first register an image manually and then refine with an automatic
registration, or the opposite. Or accumulate manual registrations. Registrations are handled as a stack
of geometric transformations and this stack is editable.
- Image mirroring
- Non destructive image processing.
- Project saving and loading (Isis XML format).
- Export of volume images.
- Export of transform (currently matrices only).
