Results
When two roads have common endpoints as in this image, in the bottom
right-hand corner, only one of them is recognized, the one corresponding
to the minimum energy. The geological line to the left of the image is
recognised independently within the same computation.
The integration of characteristics of grey level, contrast and curvature in the
same potential makes the method more robust and allows considerable
variations along the ridge.
