The atmospheric correction

It is done with the help of the MODEL 5S software. The MODEL 5S software belongs to the Atmospheric Optic Laboratory (LOA) of Lille (France).

The application of MODEL 5S to our images enables us to obtain the following parameters :

• The direct solar light,
• the diffuse solar light,
• the atmospheric intrinsic luminance,
• ...

All these parameters allow us to correct the diffusion effects which are disturbing the satellite image.

The topographic correction
